About this event

Join us for the Tiny Earth Winter Symposium to showcase student research and antibiotic discovery. This inaugural, international event is designed to showcase student research presentations as well as engage students' families and friends in learning more about antibiotic resistance and the science of discovery. The event will be held virtually on Zoom.

Keynote: Dr. Jo Handelsman, Director of the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, Founder of Tiny Earth, and Vilas Research Professor of Plant Pathology, University of Wisconsin-Madison

Featuring: Tiny Earth Student Research Presentations; Interactive Community Activity; TEPI Webinar about Tiny Earth's Online Curriculum

DECEMBER 15

Keynote: Dr. Beronda Montgomery, Foundation Professor of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology - Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, Michigan State University

Expert Panel: The Science of Antibiotic Resistance and Public Health Emergencies
